Department Colloquium Series

Current Colloquium Series for Spring 2014

Our next speaker is Narcissus Quagliata - A stained glass artist. The talk will be on February 21st, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Temple 1165. To visit Quagliata's website, and see lots of examples of his art, click here

Department Seminars

  • Analysis, Logic and Physics Seminar (ALPS) Series (Fridays 3:00-4:00 pm). It will be held in Harris Hall 4th Floor, Room 4145. (Dr. Marco Aldi, Dr. Brent Cody, and Dr. Sean Cox, Organizers). The VCU Analysis, Logic and Physics Seminar series is devoted to studying topics in analysis, set theory, mathematical physics and related areas of mathematics. Some events have "Special Times" and will be held on different days. Please refer to the schedule for these changes.

  • Biomathematics Seminar Series (Fridays 1:00-2:00 pm). It will be held in Harris Hall 4th Floor, Room 4119. (Dr. Suzanne Robertson, Dr. Rebecca Segal, and Dr. Angela Reynolds,Organizers). The VCU Biomathematics seminar series is devoted to studying mathematics and its application to biology and medicine.

  • Discrete Mathematics Seminar Series (Tuesdays 12:30-1:20 pm). It will be held in Harris Hall 4th Floor, Room 4119. (Dr. Dan Cranston and Dr. Craig Larson, Organizers). The VCU Discrete Mathematics seminar is devoted to studying topics in discrete mathematics (algebra, combinatorics, and graph theory) and their applications.
