Research interests:

Difference equations and dynamical systems - research topics include: consequences of algebraic structure on the underlying space; reduction of order and semiconjugate factorizations of higher order difference equations into triangular systems of lower order equations; autonomous and non-autonomous equations; non-recursive difference equations; linear equations; quadratic equations; rational equations; global attractivity and stability of equilibria and cycles as well as aperiodic and chaotic behavior in non-discrete spaces; parallel or synchronous systems of difference equations (maps); asynchronous systems of difference equations; dependency graphs and matrices; mathematical modeling of consumer behavior and also of the business cycle; mathematical modeling of the spontaneous initiation and termination of cardiac arrhythmia.
