Description: This course will explore topics important to the mathematical experiences of students in K-5 classrooms including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, place value, decimal numbers, and fractions.

Tests: Tests will be given on the following days:

  • Test 1: Monday, July 11, 2005
  • Test 2: Thursday, July 28, 2005

Due Dates: Assignments will be due on the following days:

  • Problem Set #1: Friday, July 8
  • Reflection Paper #1: Thursday, July 14
  • Problem Set #2: Wednesday, July 20
  • Problem Set #3: Tuesday, July 26
  • Reflection Paper #2: Friday, August 5

Grading: The final grade will be computed as follows:

3 mathematical problem sets (50 points each)

2 tests (75 points each)

10 – 15 end-of-day exit cards (5 points each)
