Mathematics MinorA minor in mathematical sciences consists of at least 18 credits offered by the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and the Department of Statistical Sciences and Operations Research, including a minimum of three credits of calculus and nine upper-level credits.
A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be achieved in the minor.
Neither STAT 208 nor STAT 210 can be used to fulfill the required 18 credits.
Credit for 100-level mathematical sciences courses cannot be applied to the minor.
Mathematical sciences majors cannot minor in a mathematical sciences program.
