Mathematics Minor

A minor in mathematical sciences consists of at least 18 credits offered by the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and the Department of Statistical Sciences and Operations Research, including a minimum of three credits of calculus and nine upper-level credits.

A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be achieved in the minor.

Neither STAT 208 nor STAT 210 can be used to fulfill the required 18 credits.

Credit for 100-level mathematical sciences courses cannot be applied to the minor.

Mathematical sciences majors cannot minor in a mathematical sciences program.
